| Bruce Briggs
Bruce Briggs started playing poker on Mother's Day weekend, 2004. His first experience was a home game, a tournament with over 60 entrants. Somehow, as beginner luck often has it, he took second place and left with over $600. That set the hook and he has been playing furiously ever since. He holds a record, amongst his peers in Salt Lake, of playing in a home poker game every day, for 35 straight days, starting on Super Bowl Sunday 2006. He met Eric when he joined the Salt Lake City Poker Meetup group that Eric organized and they have been good friends and competitors ever since. (By the way, Bruce also holds the record for that Meetup Group of the most games attended, over 400). Bruce hosted a regular Friday night home game for three and a half years so he knows the home poker game scene, loves to play a variety of poker games and loves to trade stories and tactics with fellow enthusiasts.

| Josh Woodward
Josh Woodward seems to have a career death wish. A prolific indie acoustic-rock songwriter, he has released eight albums in the past six years, but he has chosen to give away all of his music for free. In a world of $18 CDs and lawsuits against file sharing grandmothers, Josh offers over 150 songs as free downloads from his websites, and sells CDs on a name-your-own-price basis. The major record labels cry that file sharing will kill music as we know it. We can only hope that they're right, so that the road can be paved for a new generation of anti-rockstars who are in it for the love of music. |
